Your Dreams Are Worth Pursuing: A Poem

Tangible, like the heat of the sun
Too bright you took courage to take hold
Somehow I wanted to burn and to run
Too high a mountain, not minding the cold
You said though, right?

Can’t count too many dreams
Changing like a confused photo almost everyday
They may remain dreams
Somehow, I wanted to find a way
Does it suck?

What if you’re one of those?
A dream that looks too good for me
So faraway, should I pursue?
Maybe I shall let us be?
Will it be okay with you? how?

Does it make sense? Never thought it didn’t
What happened that day, suddenly
Too scared to piss you off, I wouldn’t
got slapped, walked towards reality
Fight or flight? Or nah?

You’ve become one of those
A dream that’s enough for me
A dream I wanted to pursue
Surely, shall I let us be?
Will it be okay with me? how?
